GAIL ARCHER - Lecture on Ukrainian and Eastern European Organ Music - Lewis & Clark College - 09/28/24 @ 10am

Following the previous night’s concert, Gail Archer presented  a lecture on the history and characteristics of Ukrainian and Eastern European organ music at Lewis and Clark College’s Agnes Flanagan Chapel. A wide array of sheet music was on display for examination. Ms. Archer performed examples chosen from the works of composers of Ukraine, Poland, Russia and others. The presentation was filled with wonderful anecdotes related to her travels in the area, as well as meeting and working with composers and musicians.
